Guys, you have got to try this. We made this for dinner the other night and it was awesome! You will need a slow cooker (recommendation below) and it takes some planning since the meat takes about 8 hours to cook. However the nice thing about slow cookers is that you throw food in it, turn it on and forget about it (except for the wonderful smells) until it’s time to eat.
1 Pork Tenderloin (unseasoned, we used Hormel)
1/2 coarsely chopped white onion
2 cloves garlic
1 bottle BBQ sauce of your choice (a little spice is good, we like “Sweet Baby Ray’s Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce”)
Seasoned black pepper
Place pork tenderloin in slow cooker. Dump the chopped white onion on top. Mince garlic (or use garlic press, which is my preferred method) and put in slow cooker. Pour in whole bottle of BBQ sauce and sprinkle some of the seasoned black pepper in.
Turn slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours.
After 8 hours the pork will be VERY tender. Pull it apart with two forks and serve with BBQ sauce from slow cooker. Serve with french fries and a salad.
VERY SIMPLE, but oh so good!
