Amazon Listens – Amazon Family

In Fatherhood, Reviews by The Unexpected Dad2 Comments

Amazon Mom is now Amazon family, thanks Amazon! I guess it really wasn’t a big deal, but I always felt that Amazon was alienating 50% of their potential market. Regardless of what they call it, Amazon still produces some great deals with this program, which also includes Amazon Prime.

One of my more popular posts was a Review on Amazon Mom. Amazon has since changed the name of the service to “Amazon Family”; we couldn’t be happier with the service. We are still getting wipes and diapers auto-delivered through this service, although occasionally we suspend the deliveries, especially on the wipes because we sometimes end up with a surplus. I also receive various promotions in my email with coupons and discounts.

As I mentioned above Amazon Family includes Amazon Prime, which provides free two-day shipping on most products. If your family is anything like mine most of our non-food related purchases come from Amazon, so free two-day shipping is well worth it.

Please let me know what you think of the Amazon Family service by posting comments here.

My name is Paul and I am The Unexpected Dad.My wife and I married late in life and we didn’t really expect to have children (thus the title of my blog). We weren’t opposed to the idea of having children, but just assumed that it was not in the cards for us.

Amazon will always help a buyer. And if sellers treat Amazon and their rules with respect, they will go a long way to help. Must we still retweet?

Not sure if I understand this comment in the context of the post, but I agree. I have never had any issues with Amazon from a buyer’s perspective. Everything from shipping to returns is handled very well, which is one reason why I keep going back to Amazon.
